Took golden circle tour on 07/02/12 and despite the horrendous rain we had a fabulous day. The tour guide Axelo was full of enthusiasm and very informative. He made the day fun even tho we could barely stand up in the wind and the rain meant we couldn't see the road in front of us.
We got to see all the sights and the tour ran very efficiently. Would recommend the tour and superjeep.is to anyone planning a trip to Iceland.

The jeep tours were an excellent way to see the sights. We took both the Golden Circle and Northern Lights tours and had a great time on each. I highly recommend the snowmobiling excursion that is part of the Golden Circle tour. Both of our guides were very friendly and informative and struck a nice balance between pointing out items of interest and simply letting you quietly take in the surroundings.

Even though we didnt see the Northern Lights we fully enjoyed the beautiful landscape of iceland and what a better way to see the fantastic features of iceland included on the golden circle tour by superjeep. We are a young couple that visited Iceland for the first time this year to hunt down the northern lights. The second night we were staying superjeep took us out into the wilderness with optimism for sightings. Unfortunately we didnt see them but we stayed out until almost 3am trying our best. Our spirits dampened superjeep offered us a second try for free and later on in the week. With no high hopes we drove off into the beautiful national parks once more and within 1 hour we saw the sky light up! It was beautiful and the tour guides were so friendly and immediately took lovely pictures of all of us and have uploaded them for us to keep free of charge!! We went on 3 trips with superjeep and we were never let down by their friendliness and personal guidence. We would recommend these tours highly over the coach trips as these guys will always do their best to tailor your experience and tell you wonderful stories about the country and culture!!

We did the Golden Circle with Ingi during the day on 22.12.11. He was really lovely and was very informative. The tour included a rather persistent/adventurous trip through the snow to see a glacier only the visibility was too low once we got there. It didn't matter though, half the fun was getting there. We then did the Northern lights tour that night with Stepan and had an amazing time. The tour guides were very enthusiastic and rather funny. The tour itself was very organised and what a beautiful sight when the lights came out! The photos were an added bonus to prolong the memory. I have been and will continue to recommend Superjeep.is as well as Iceland as a Top 10 to Do and if you can do it with Superjeep you wont be disappointed. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

My son, Mark and I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Iceland. We had 3 trips with Superjeep.is - The Golden Circle, The Northern Lights and The South Coast including Eyjaflatlajokull. Our guides were Jacob and Orri (both fantastic, entertaining and charming gentlemen with wonderful senses of humour!)
The weather was very hard going at times but we were treated to superb sights at all times. You guys made our stay - thank you, from the bottom of our hearts - Carey and Mark X

WOW - what an unforgettable experience. We had to move our tour due to a delay in our arriving flights and Super Jeep were happy to accomodate us with no effort or condition. We had the craziest driver - Ori - who made the hunt exciting, scary and most of all, fun. We got stuck in a snow drift thanks to his antics but it made the hunt all the more enjoyable. The team at Super Jeep were amazing and offered lots of advice, insights and stories (thanks Ori for the sleepless nights because of your ghost stories!) Also despite the -10 degree weather, we had an incredible sighting of the lights and we couldnt recommend you enough. Thanks for making our weekend unforgettable and we hope to return again some day to do it all again!

When you are travelling to Iceland and you want a nice time, you must book your trips with Super Jeep This experience made our holiday amazing, and definitely money well spent. We were very thank full we found them first. Axel and the other tour guides were wonderful. We went off road after seeing the northern lights. Axel told us a lot of things about Iceland on our trips and could arrange to take you any were you wanted to go. We saw a lot of Iceland the sights and the sounds .There is no real need to do a lot of home work before going Just ask them! Just go to face book superjeep.is and see the smiling faces

If you are travelling to Iceland, you must book a trip with SuperJeep. This experiance made our girlie holiday worth while! It was amazing, and definately money well spent. Axel (our crazy driver!) was a wonderful tour guide and when we went off roading after seeing the northern lights he told us a lot of things about the mountain we were climbing in the jeep to see Reykjavik, although, not entirely sure anyone heard any of it over all the laughing! It was great! Thank you guys so much!!!

Thank you so much for a wonderful day. We did the Golden Circle tour with snowmobiling and I would highly recommend this tour to anybody going to Iceland. The views were spectacular and we were looked after very well on the tour. We were advised to try the meat soup at Gulfoss and it was truly wonderful. It was breathtaking scenery all the way and a great feeling going up to Langjokull. You will not be disappointed if you do this trip and do snowmobiling. It is great fun!!

My mum (Val Winch) and I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to Helmut, Jacob and Orri - we went on a total of 3 superjeep adventures, and boy, are we glad we did! Our Iceland holiday was more than unforgettable. Thanks to Helmut for taking us to Landmannalaugar,where we learnt about the mechanics of super jeep suspensions and their ability to climb the 45 degree slopes of Hekla in the fog! Thanks Jacob for not laughing as we slipped around on the Langjökull glacier and for bringing us down safely again, and thanks Orri for taking us to the beach as an added extra after racing through rivers in the Markarfklót valley!
We felt we were in very safe and experienced hands and are delighted to recommend super jeep to anyone wanting to avoid the crowds, get a chance to talk to real Icelanders and learn much more about the country.

I had a wonderful time on two of your tours in late July and will certainly be back to try the others! I was on my own and Orri made me feel very welcome. He was very obliging at stopping for me to photograph flowers and birds (my special interests). By the second tour I felt Orri had become a friend, and it made my stay in Iceland all the more pleasurable.

We had a perefct trip with the fastest Jeep driver ever met (think I need to keep the name anonymus) .... Be sure - you don't need any roller-coaster experience later on... Perfect guidance to Mt. Hekla (Yes - we did it nearly to the top) and Landmannaugar. Also the waterfall stops and crater views between the main locations have been fantastic. We need to go on a glacier, next time I will be in Iceland. Many Greetings back from home. I will sent you some pictures later.

Stefan !! 1000 TAKK for turen me hadde 10.juli , ein tur me seint vil gløyma. Opp mot Hekla var spennande, me måtte snu på ca 750 meter over havet i ei snøfonn. Me va vel då ein times gåtur frå toppen, etterpå kjørte me til Landmannalaugar der me bada i varmekjelder å gjekk tur i vulkanområder. Tilbaketuren via Kraftst. å Torvhuset innkl. foto pause å Kaffi pause var også fint. Du hadde 2ventilar i kvar felg, INN og UT luft. 50pound på asvfaltvegar å 20pound i terenget, nåke som også va nytt for meg. Me har møkje å fortelja til venner her på Fitjar :-) Thanks again Stefan

Thank you for making this trip such a different experience. Would love to come back in the winter to enjoy some of the other activities on offer. Meant to write a comment ages ago as we saw the lights on 14th Feb with Superjeep, but better late than never, as its definately worth saying that this Northern Lights trip was AMAZING! The effort these guys put in to help you see the lights is great and they're all so knowledgable about the phenomenon. Stefan was our driver and he was just lovely, and would have been willing to talk away about the lights all night, even when he dropped us back to our hotel. Its always been my dream to see the lights and it was for this primary reason that we visited Iceland. My advice to anyone deciding between a Superjeep tour or a cheaper bus tour would be to spend the extra money and vastly increase your chances of seeing them! After all, why spend a lot of money on getting to Iceland and accommodation, and then scrimp and save on the main thing you wanted to see! (Don't get me wrong, theres plenty of other great excursions in Iceland too!) We did the northern lights bus tour on our first night, as we got it free with Icelandair, and yes it was fun and exciting on our first night, for the first 10 minutes, then it just got a bit cold and boring coz we were in the one spot all night with no chance of seeing anything, whereas Superjeep actively take you around lots of different places on the one night to try and find them for you! We loved it so much, we actually booked again to do the same trip the next night!

We recommend this tour, which we did on may 6th, very much. Real superjeep driving through an amazing landscape, on rocky dirtroads, through splashing riverbeds. Beats the bus! Views of a magnificent Gigjokull glacier and Eyjafjallajokull volcano (nice movie at visitors centre of Thorvaldseyri farm), walking behind the impressive 60 mtr. high Seljalandsfoss waterfall and a hike through the valley of Thorsmork.
Thanks for an unforgettable experience at our 1st visit to Iceland.

This trip was the highlight to my first experience of Iceland and boy what a trip! Ragnar and his kitted out jsupereep made it possible to pack in the stunning geysers, waterfalls, national park and even some rock and roll off-roading! Splashing through rivers and bowling up mountains (and coming down) was just great fun! This is the best way to see the best bits of Iceland outside of Reykjavik!

Both times I have visited Iceland I have taken the Superjeep tours and it is definitely by far the best way to travel. It is such a fantastic and fun way to see such a beautiful place. Being in Iceland, you just have got to do the Golden Circle Tour.
We booked this tour at Superjeep after a great experience by exploring the south coast with Superjeep earlier in our vacation.
The day was super. We had Agusti as our guide, together with his very friendly daughter, and again we had a great day!
Picked up at our hotel in the morning and taking of for the national park. Superjeep has the great habit of coming in early, just before the big busses are coming in, so our views of the great scenes where there just for us. By the time we where ready to go to the next destination, the busses came and it became crowded. Now that's what I call SUPER, superjeep gets you to the scene, but also takes measures to let the scene be yours also!
The Gullfoss was even more amazing. Good weather, just the two of us on the scene, great pics and after that a nice coffee. And again, as soon as we left, the busses came.
We also went snowmobiling, absolutely a must! Nice offroad and very experienced driving and as a dutchman (Our top 3 ''mountains'; 322m, 216m and 107m!), the whole trip on the mountain, including 30 to 50mph on a snowmobile for an hour was amazing!
After that we went for Geysir, Kerid and Faxa.
Again this was definitely the perfect way to discover what Iceland has to offer.
It is great to see the pride of Iceland by the guides (and Icelanders in general), the fun they have at doing their work and really thinking with their passengers and their wishes. Absolutely MEGA!
Now book this tour!

We went on the Golden Circle tour, and it was totally amazing. This tour was the best experience on our trip to Iceland. With the most professional driver and this Superjeep we sure had an adventurous and unforgettable day.
The stunning sceneries, and varied nature took our breath away, and we had to force our camaras down once in a while to enjoy it the most. The driver gave us a lot of interesting info, good local stories, and answerd every question from us curious tourists from Norway.
The ekstra kick of the tour was geting off the main road and in to rough terrain. It sure made our hearts jump a few times, but it made the whole trip very special.

We where on our honeymoon in Iceland in April 2011 and our first real day we had this tour as a private tour with Superjeep.
We had nice Icelandic weather, so in the morning we left with wind, snow and rain, but during the day the sun began to shine and the views where (even more) amazing. Lavafields, mountains, waterfalls, the glacier lagoon was packed with ice...
Because of all the ice, it wasn't possible to do the amphibious cruise, but none the less the view was beautiful!
Truly an amazing day with a very comfortable car and Agusti, our big, but very friendly and highly experienced guide from Superjeep.
We where so stoked about all this and Superjeep that we also booked the Golden Circle tour with snowmobiling at Superjeep.
Thank you very much for the great day! When we see the pictures, think of talk about it, all we can do is dream away and tell eachother that the beautiful pictures can't really translate the real views we had.

We joined the northern lights hunt on the 20th March. It was great fun being able to go off the beaten track. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable and we were lucky enough to see the lights. Loved the vehicles. Would thoroughly recommend this, much more fun than a coach.

Very impressed with SuperJeep, Stefán did an amazing job taking us out to see the Northern Lights on 8th March 2011, not only did he help us with our cameras, but took some awesome photos himself and shared them with us!.
It was both mine & my wife's birthday, so it made the night even more special to see the aurora borealis.
We also did the Golden Circle & The South Coast (& Eyjafjallajokull) excursions, without doubt the only way to see Iceland the best way.
Some great driving skills off road, into deep snow, glaciers, which made it more than just a typical "tour".

We (a group of 5) enjoyed two excursions with our guide - Stefan.
The first was the Golden Circle. The Geysers are different, explosive and a memory to capture in your mind as something different in life. Likewise the waterfall, most of us see a few in our life time but on this occasion the snow had frozen large chunks of the flow, it was fierce, cold and captivating.
The trip towards the glacier was fantastic, off roading, wild, histerical, freezing (minus 11 with nose and teeth hurting) yet sun shining and silence - wonderful.
In the evening we went for more - Stefan told us that night the sky would be the clearest during our stay, he was right (we had snow the night due to go and rain the following night), we went and saw the Northen lights dance with an array of colour.
The snow is alas melting but the hosts at Super jeep know what they are doing, it is fun, intimate, they can go where coaches can't and they can help you make the most of your stay with no concern of effort.
