What an amazing trip! We saw so much in an action packed 10 hour day - waterfalls, geysers, craters and best of all, some fantastic off-roading on the glacier and through various rivers!
Our guide Gosi was really informative and very passionate about his country. Also, he had plenty of stamina as he was off on a Northern Lights trip at 9pm the same day!

Best experience ever. We did the Northern Lights on our first evening and the Golden Circle on day 2. Both were amazing and so pleased we used Superjeep as we went exploring places that coaches/buses wouldn't of been able to go. Brilliant Northern Lights on the 16th March Glad we were with SuperJeep so we could go off road and try and track the Lights down. Good job you suceeded; hot chocolate and vodka helped against the cold. Would recommend you to anybody-and have been doing!!

We had a fantastic trip with Ragnar on 23.02.13 on the Reykjanes Superjeep Safari. Iceland is an amazing country and Ragnar was a very informative guide, taking us to many different and interesting places. Unfortunately we were unable to see the Northern Lights due to poor weather. We hope to return one day and will definitely use Superjeep again.

We did two trips with Superjeep - the Golden Circle and the Northern Lights - and we were delighted with both. The drivers/guides were very knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to want everyone to get the most from the trips, both in terms of the spectacular scenery and the "off-road" experience afforded by the jeeps.
Really can't fault anything, both trips were really great, a real adventure of a lifetime in an amazing and beautiful country!

Had an amazing evening on the Northern Lights Explorer Tour. Axelo was so helpful with my camera - as I usually set it to 'Idiot' and just point - and, although I didn't have a tripod, we were still amazed at the photos we took. We were so lucky as the lights were amazing, and Axel's photos on facebook for 11th Feb are stunning! - and a bit sharper than mine!
Thank you so much to everyone at Superjeep - our driver was great, Axel was the perfect guide and the hot chocolate and vodka warmed us all up on a cold, clear night! The whole evening was one of the stunning highlights of a fantastic holiday.

Superb,thrillling and wonderful. What more can I say. We had Stefan and Hemir as our tour guides on the Golden Circle and the South Coast tours, please do not miss either of these tours they were breath taking and the two guides were so knowledable and great fun to be with. They are superb drivers that you feel totally safe with when either driving in blizzards or at a vertical climb up 770 meters of glazier. A totally wonderful trip and we will be back. A stunning country with lovely, friendly people who are happy to tell you anything you wish to know about Iceland. The Super Jeep team ARE THE BEST you would not see this beautiful country at its best if you did not use their services. Thank you Stefan and Hemir particularly for a great time. xx

It had been a cloudy week, and aurora activity was low - the odds weren't exactly in favour of viewing the Northern Lights. But Superjeep pulled out all the stops, zooming us around to all the best vantage spots that other coach tours can't access. As the sky suddenly exploded with luminous green lights, I was glad I'd chosen Superjeep. Thank you!

Had a fantastic Notthern Lights experience last Sunday 13th Jan. As well as an amazing display of lights we were even lucky enough to see a shooting star. Thanks to the team for finding some good viewing spots and the information and very welcome hot chocolate. We got some great phoros. Also thanks to Athor for the unexpected off-roading at the end of the trip; it was really fun.

Had a fantastic two day trip with superjeep. The golden circle tour and the volcano and south coast tour. The driver and tour guide Eythor, was prompt on collection and very welcoming. He had good knowledge of the tours and made sure the trips were a fun but safe drive. The guide went over and beyond expectations to make the trip a great one!

Went on 03/03/2013. Absolutely stunning! Though it was a bit dark at the first and the last spot everything was awesome, and gloom creates some sort of mysterious atmosphere. Super nice and friendly guides, cool off-road experience with river crossing and fantatic beautiful nature! Would highly recommend Superjeep tours to everyone coming to Iceland, it's the best way to get familiar with Icelandic gorgeous nature!

We had a great trip with Axelo on 13.12.12 to see the northern lights. The jeep journey was good fun and my husband loved seeing the lights on his special birthday holiday! Axelo was great at sorting the photos (our camera would never of captured them - you should really have a good camera with tripod with you). We would recommend this trip. Iceland is a lovely place to visit and we take away great memories. Thanks!

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! You guys are great. We did three different trips with three different drivers and loved all of them. The weather certainly didn't spoil the fun; we had a lot of snow on the first trip but the driver made it a fantastic day & showed us what the jeeps can do! I went on the Northern Lights tour on 3rd December. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The jeeps are fab, really good fun as you navigate dirt tracks to chase the lights. The guys know their stuff so take you where they think it will be best to view the lights. I wasn't disappointed as we went straight to them. Fantastic trip, fantastic night. Book with these guys you won't be disappointed.

These guys are great. We went out for the Northern Lights Tour on November 18, and saw a spectacular display. The SuperJeeps people know where to find the lights, how to photograph the lights, how to show you how to photograph the lights, and how to have a fantastic time. These are the people to use if you want to make sure that you see the lights and get photographs of the lights.

We were booked to see the Northern Lights on Friday 20th November but it was cancelled due to cloud cover. Superjeep rescheduled it for the following night so we weren't wasting our money looking for something that just wasn't going to show!! Saturday during the day Heimir came in his jeep to pick us up from our hotel, then some others and we did the South Coast tour. Absolutely fantastic. Saw THAT volcano (Eyafjallajokull) learnt how to pronounce it, went off roading across a spectacular black sand beach. Loved Skogafoss waterfall, sun, snow and a rainbow. Perfect.
So Sat night we went out again to spot the lights. Hadn't been gone long and there was an arc of light over Reykjavik and our knowledgeable guides told us that was the lights - wasn't as green as I expected but on a photograph it comes out beautiful. Moved on to other places and were rewarded later by a much better display. The hot chocolate and small bottle of Vodka we were given helped us get through the freezing cold night!!
Not much sleep that night because Sunday morning we were up early again for another trip out with Heimir to do the Golden Circle Tour. Highlights of this one for me were Thingvellir National Park, the sun was coming up around 10am and the glow from the sun rising over the landscape was stunning. We also took part in snowmobiling which was much more than I expected. We actually drove our own snowmobiles DOWN the mountain. It took quite a long time and if I can do it anyone can!! The snow was about 50cm deep and the jeeps had to drive through that to get to the top and the expert drivers knew exactly how to do it, let most of the air out of the tyres until they are running flat... I trusted Heimirs driving all weekend and we drove on snow for a lot of the time. Learnt so much about Iceland. It is a beautiful country better than I expected and if you want to see it at its best Superjeep is the best option!! Many Many thanks for a weekend I will never forget and good luck to you all.

These guys are awesome, they really know what they're doing, they look after you but they also have fun with you! Our driver and guide Axelo was a great laugh and an even better off-road driver.
We did both the Golden Circle and Northern Lights tour with these guys and got a bunch of great photos from both and a day I'll never forget. Mountains, 2 tectonic plates, geysers, icy waterfalls, glaciers, volcanic craters and of course the Aurora Borealis, which they endeavour to find a good location for their customers. Highly recommended and better than any coach trip would have been!

We were in Iceland for just 48 hours and were hoping to see the Northen Lights for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. With the first day cloudy and raining we only had one shot on 13th Nov so decided (based on all these reviews) to go with Superjeep.is. We were not disappointed! After driving up a mountain overlooking Reykjavik we had a fantastic 1.5 hours under the lights. The guys kept us fueled with hot chocolate and vodka and took some amazing photos for us to share with friends and family back home. One of the best trips of our lives!

We booked two tours with Superjeep. Unfortunately the Northern Lights tour didn't go out but Superjeep kept us informed and I'd much rather not go out than waste time looking at clouds (like some of the other tours available).
The Golden Circle tour on 7/11/12 was the highlight of our trip to Iceland. It was a little more expensive than the coach trips available but really worth every penny. Axel was a fantastic guide - very knowledgeable and funny.
When we return to Iceland - which we will - we will book our tours with Superjeep and nobody else, I can't say more than that to recommend them.

Just want to thank super jeep for helping us to realise a life long dream of seeing the Northern Lights. We saw them on the third night of trying on Thursday 1st November! You guys were great, professional, committed and, even when we didn't see anything on the first nights, you gave us a great evening off roading and seeing the sites! When driver even showed me the garage where Night Shift was filmed......but that another story!
So super jeep, we will recommend you without hesitation and.....we will be back!

Love it! We went out on the first night looking for Aurora Borealis, and nature was not so kind, but our driver offered to pick us all up again the next night, free of charge, to look again! The second night was much nicer and we got some amazing shots!

After a fantastic day out with Axel & the superjeeps we booked again for the Northern Lights tour.
We were totally spoilt, taken out of town from the light pollution the stars alone were amazing.
The lights were a bit tricky to track down, but Axel & the crew wouldn't just stand around or give up and made the whole evening a good night out.
Spotting the lights and giving us plenty of time to enjoy them, taking photos for us and showing us the best places to look.

I took my mum to Iceland for her 70th Birthday and wanted a really special day out, & boy didn't we get it.

Have come back with really special memories of the Golden Circle and Glacier and the off roading which was a bonus we didn't expect. The Glacier was spectacular and not to be missed. The guys were very helpful, and interested in what people had to say, and experts when it came to taking photographs.
All the team ensured everyone was looked after.
After driving to a site and seeing a glow the guys advised we were to set off to find a better site to ensure we saw more. The view was lovely with the aurora showing as arcs, bands, and rays plus the milky way ! They took our photos with the aurora. I would recommend the company to anybody wanting to see the amazing northern lights.

Wow! What a trip! Thank-you Ragnar for arranging it at the last minute and for Bergþór for being such a brilliant, informative and fun driver.
Getting to Þórsmörk is a memorable adventure in itself with lots of off-roading and river crossings to put a smile on your face, and then there is the forest itself - gorgeous.
As always the atmosphere in the jeep was brilliant with strangers becoming fast friends with one another and with Bergþór. No one could have been bored on this trip.
