This excursion offers you a chance to see and experience some of Iceland's greatest natural phenomena, geology and history. With the guidance and stops along the way you will become a part of the nature and a part of our history.
We travel first to Þingvellir National Park where the parliament was founded over 1000 years ago. At Þingvellir you will see how the earth is ever so slowly pulling apart along the crustal plates and you will be able to stand where the Viking settlers stood centuries ago.
Next we visit the geothermal area in Haukadalur where you can see geysers, hot springs, steam vents and brightly coloured algae. Strokkur is one of the largest and most powerful geysers and erupts almost every 10 minutes. The waterfall Gullfoss is something you will never forget and to some people it is the queen of Icelandic waterfalls. High and mighty it looks at you before it tumbles violently into the deep gorge.
After Gullfoss we stop by Faxi a small but beautiful waterfall and then head to the crater Kerið before driving back to Reykjavík.
There is also an optional excursion to snowmobile on Langjökull, Iceland's second largest glacier. ISK 16.000 per person based on two sharing.
Minimun 2 pax
Excursions operate depending on weather conditions and may be subject to last minute cancellation.

First of all, Ragnar I'm sorry that we haven't written any comments until now.
We were a family of 6 that visitet Iceland during July last year. I got in contact with him through this website and from my first contact I realizied that he was something special. During the planning he called me several times, just to make sure we where inlined in our expectations. We arrived at the airport and where met by Ragnar himself and he drove us in his Lincon Navigator to our hotel. During this 45 min trip he arranged an extra tour to Westman islands. Our original plans where to travel the Golden Circle but as a true proffesional he convinced us that the trip to these Islands where well worth the money. We spent 2 and a half days in total with Ragnar and the whole family agreed to 100 % that Ragnar was the key factor making this trip forever stay in rememberance. If you only shall make one excurison on Iceland, be sure you let Ragnar handle the arrangements. I can promise you, a total satisfaction guarantee. Best regards the whole Lundgren family p.s Ragnar, Thanks again for all your pictures. D.s |

| This is the third time we have done this tour with the Super Jeeps and it has been different every time. The guides/drivers are very knowledgeable and skilled, being in a car with only maximum of six other people means that you can ask any questions that you like and request to stop at places along the way if there is something you would like to see or take a photo of. Travelling in a Super Jeep is definitely the best way to see the Island and I would encourage you to book with this company. We will definitely go back and do it all again!! |

Waterfalls, explosion craters, erupting geysirs and driving around the Langsjokull glacier in magnificently unstoppable Land Rovers; not your usual bucket and spade holiday thank God.
Superb scenery, great guide many thanks Ragnar, we will be back. |

This may be the stereotypical Icelandic tour, but even after this, my 3rd trip, I would still do it again and again as every time the weather, light, and colours are completely different. Once again, Ragnar excelled in his guidance and driving and made the tour completely our own; from arranging a private guide at the Power Station, driving up to active boreholes on the top of the nearby Hengill Volcano, and stopping at the houses of the Hidden People. Gulfoss was perfect in it's splendour with azure water cascading down past frozen rock and plants that looked like ice-sculptures; Strokkur performed as expected, bad sadly the Great Geysir stayed quiet.
If you have the choice of a bus tour of the Golden Circle, or a Superjeep - take the Superjeep!

One of our highlights of our trip in visiting Iceland. Anyone deciding to do a Golden Circle tour should definitely consider hiring this tour company. Our tour guide was informative, fun and took us places where only a super-jeep can reach. The tour felt personal as there were only 3 other passengers/travelers along for the ride (total of 5 passengers) We all were free to ask questions as we pleased and did not feel rushed as we toured the Golden Circle.
We added a snowmobile ride to the tour which was an experience of a lifetime! The hour ride snowmobile was more than enough time, in fact it was perfect and we were definitely satisfied with the hour ride. Weather was definitely on our side, there was not a cloud in the sky and visibility was great! Anyone deciding to visit Iceland should not hesitate to book a super-jeep tour. Weather permitting, this is an experience not to be missed in a beautiful and scenic land as Iceland. We were very satisfied booking a super-jeep tour (and snowmobile ride) with SuperJeep.is than taking a bus tour of the Golden Circle. It was worth every penny. |
