Day 1 :  Northern Lights Hunt in Superjeep

We make sure your booking for your Northern Lights Hunt in Superjeep is for your first night in town in order to maximise your chances of seeing the northern lights.

The Northern Lights superjeep tour is dependent on the weather and sky conditions and we reserve the right to cancel at any time. If the evening tour goes ahead and the Northern Lights are not seen, we will offer you to try once again for free!

Day 2 :  Golden Circle & Langjökull Glacier in Superjeep

We will pick you up at your Hotel 08:30

Our first stop takes us to Thingvellir National Park where the Icelandic parliament was founded over 1000 years ago. At Thingvellir you will see how the earth is ever so slowly pulling apart along the North-America and Eurasian tectonic plates and you will be able to stand where the Viking settlers stood centuries ago to edict national laws.

Next, you will visit the Geysir geothermal area in Haukadalur where you can see geysers, hot springs, steam vents and eerie blue algae. Strokkur is one of the largest and most powerful geysers and erupts almost every 5 minutes.

The final stop of the Golden Circle takes you to Gullfoss waterfall, which many consider to be the queen of Icelandic waterfalls, as it is both high and mighty and stumbles dramatically in a deep gorge. We then have a lunch break at Gullfoss Café, before trying out our Superjeep vehicles off road: the ride will take you to the highlands, rough terrain and glacier area of Langjökull (Icelandic for "long glacier"), known to be the second largest ice cap in Iceland (953 km2). You will enjoy the landscape from your Superjeep while occasionally stopping next incredible sights.
After an off-road ride, we visit by Faxi, a small but beautiful waterfall before driving back to Reykjavik.

We reserve the right to reverse the circle to escape the crowds.

Inside the cave there are high walls of ice that have been sculpted by glacial water throughout the centuries. Water drips all around and the air is cold and fresh. The beautiful Seljalandsfoss behind which a path allows you to walk, followed by the mighty Skógafoss waterfall; walk and drive on black sand beaches pounded by the Atlantic surf and see the bird cliffs that surround the quaint coastal village of Vík. On the way home, we drive past the greenhouse town of Hveragerði, a place named after the abundant geothermal activity in the area which allows the locals to grow all kinds of plants and produce in row upon row in greenhouses.
